Back in high school this boy I started dating suggested The Chronicles of Prydain to me. He loved the characters and we were talking about the Song of the Lioness series (which I was reading for the first time at the time) and he thought I would like this series. He was horribly right. I’m really glad I wound up marrying him. <3

If you have ever wondered how to pronounce the name of the water horses from Maggie Stiefvater’s The Scorpio Races… (This is printed on one of the first pages of the British paperback edition. Yes, I’m a American, but I own 3 copies and my mom got one of them while she was in London last year. :)

The Seven Realms is a must-read series. From the day I finished reading it I haven’t been able to get it out of my thoughts. I loved the series so much that some of the characters felt like close friends. Each one was amazingly developed. I will miss them and, because of that, know that I will eventually pick up these four books again.

I’ve wanted to pick these up for a while

This is my absolutely favorite series, everyone should read them!

I just realized that finishing Champion means I can go back to Lady Knight, so yaaaaay :D

It’s 1:30 am and I’m crying over fictional characters

Okay, so I’m back with a new draft of my story I wrote for my fiction writing class! If you’d like, you can read the original, but I like this new version much better (I hope my professor does too, yikes!). Feel free to give me your comments, and if you’re in a workshop mood, go ahead!

I just want to buy a bunch of books that I have nowhere to put and no time to read

And no money to buy them with.
